Since the release of the report of the pipe bomb found at a local church in DeRidder, a suspected second bomb was discovered to have been detonated at a another church in the city limits.

No injuries were sustained and it is not known if the two are related.

It was reported that a church in Vernon Parish was also burglarized.

Sheriff Moses advises local ministers to check their respective churches for anything suspicious. A pipe bomb that was found and detonated by officials early this morning was described as a black five cell flashlight with a green colored fuse attached.

Anyone locating such a device is advised to contact the Sheriff's Office immediately by calling 911 or 337-463-3281.
