Funeral services for Linda Gae Longoria, 60, will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 26, 2009 at First Baptist Church of DeRidder, with the Rev. Wayne Squyres and the Rev. Bill Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, La.
Funeral services for George Albert Hoffpauir, 75, will be held Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at 10 a.m., in Labby Memorial Funeral Home, in DeRidder, La., with the Rev. Ava Laidler officiating. Burial will follow at Evenezer Cemetery, in Hicks, La.
Visitation is scheduled to begin Sunday, Jan. 25, at 5 p.m., at the funeral home.
Hoffpauir died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, in Garland, Texas.
He was a native of Crowley, La., graduated from Crowley High School, and attended Louisiana State University (LSU). He lived in Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas. His favorite past-time was fishing. He spent many hours at his lake retreat at Toledo Bend, with family, and friends, frying fish on the Coleman stove. He was employed with the United States Post Office in Louisiana, and worked with Lubrizol Corp in Texas, until he retired. He served in the United States Army, National Guard, and United States Army Reserves.
Hoffpauir is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hoffpauir of Garland, Texas; brother James (Dorothy) Hoffpauir of Westlake, La.; sons, Sam (Darlene) Hoffpauir, and Wayne Hoffpauir, all of Pasadena, Texas; daughters, Sandra (Brownie) Bishop of Deer Park, Texas, and Paula Kleiman of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Kerri Bishop Antichevich, Bryan (Lisa) Hoffpauir, and Michael Bishop, all of Deer Park,  and Chad Hoffpauir, and Lisa Hoffpauir (John) Waldrop, of Pasadena; great grandchildren, Rebecca, Mikayla and Matthew Antichevich, all of Deer Park.
He was preceded in death by wife, Eva Lee Weldon Hoffpauir; and his parents, Harvey and Lucy Hoffpauir.
