DeRidder, La. -
William Edward Wood, 65, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2008 in his home in DeRidder.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Wood; two daughters, Christy Bauder of Pensacola, Fla., and Amy Collier, also of Pensacola; three grandchildren; two sisters, Annette McWhirter of Vidor, Texas, and Jean Myers of Sulphur, La.; and one brother, Gary Wood of Fields, La. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nola Jane Simmons.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 at Chaddick Funeral Home in DeRidder. Rev. Frank Ott will officiate.
