SINGER—The Singer Hornets (17-14, 4-2 5-B) are now two games over .500 in district play after winning at home Tuesday night against the Evans Eagles (8-22, 0-6 5-B) by a score of 54-49.
Singer outscored Evans 15-11 in the second quarter and 17-15 in the fourth quarter.
Evans outscored Singer 11-10 in the third quarter.
The two teams were tied 12-12 at the end of the first quarter.
For Singer, Cody Massie had 14 points and Jordan Pickering had 13 points.
For Evans Zack Reberg had 14 points and Ryan Crittenden and Zane Crocker each had 11 points.
Singer is at Hornbeck Friday and Evans hosts Simpson Friday.
